Q- Are all the exercises the same in the AKF360 exercise DVD as they are in the AKF360 tv commercial?
A- No. the AKF360 exercise DVD contains some different and more complete workouts which can be performed at home and/or learned and performed at the gym or elsewhere. Some of the exercises in the TV commercial are in the AKF360 exercise DVD however, the tv commercial exercises were edited for time or other reasons.
Q- What is in the AKF360 exercise DVD?
A- The AKF360 exercise DVD contains:
* Martial Arts and Yoga inspired flexibility and stretching exercises.
* A very comprehensive and intense resistance and strength training routine for the upper body and lower body done in super-sets to increase intensity.
* An exciting and intense cardio kickboxing routine created to be fun and instructional in the basics of kickboxing.
Some very exciting music pieces were also written and performed for the AKF360 exercise DVD to keep you excited about doing your workouts every day. AKF360 exercise DVD was also shot with one of the best movie cameras to give you a very exciting viewing experience. We used the same type camera for the commercial.
Q- What about diet, nutrition, and weight loss?
A- Soon I plan to share with my customers the very plans and programs I created to get myself prepared for the pictures you can see on the MEET AMIR page. I think you will find my diet and nutrition information to be cutting-edge, highly effective, and able to be maintained long-term. No yo yo dieting but rather a well-balanced, healthy, and sustainable eating plan. I also plan to have a supplement section as well. I take supplements every day myself.
CONSULT WITH YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE BEGINNING THIS OR ANY EXERCISE ROUTINE. THE CREATORS, PRODUCERS, PARTICIPANTS AND DISTRIBUTORS OF THIS PROGRAM DO NOT ASSUME LIABILITY FOR INJURY OR LOSS IN CONNECTION WITH THIS EXERCISE PROGRAM AND INSTRUCTIONS THEREIN. INDIVIDUAL RESULTS WILL VARY.
Q- What equipment will I need.
A- One exercise ball or swiss ball (see instructions on the box for the right size to get), a pair of hexagonal dumbbells (I like hex dumbbells because they have flat sides and you can use them to do push-ups as well (begin with 3-5 pound dumbells and go up in 5 pound increments if they get too light or if you can do more than 15-20 repetitions with them. One 5-6 pound medicine ball for the abs/core exercises.
Q- Are the dumbbells, the exercise ball, and the medicine ball a must?
A- The pair of dumbbells are a must but neither the exercise ball nor the medicine ball are a must. See the AKF360 page and I have instructions on how to substitute some of the ball exercises with push ups and sit ups so you do not have to purchase the balls. You will need a pair of dumbbells for the rest of the exercises.
Q- Will you open studios?
A- I may, however I plan to hold live fitness workshops throughout the country so more people can benefit from them.
Q- Can these workouts be done by men?
A- Absolutely. Men just need to start with 15-20 pound dumbbells and go up in 5 pound increments if they can do more than 15-20 repetitions. Everything else would be the same for them. Oh, they must also not mind they are watching women perform on their exercise DVD.
Q- Do I have to do the exercises in order?
A- The only thing you must do is properly stretch first. Never do the resistance exercises nor the cardio kickboxing without doing the stretching exercises first. You can do stretching and resistance training only one day or stretching and cardio kickboxing only. The AKF360 exercise DVD is intended to be as much a "exercise along on your T.V." type of exercise as it is an instructional and "learn how to perform" DVD. You can learn the exercises and perform them in the gym for example.
Q- What body parts will this impact?
A- The AKF360 exercises impact the upper and lower body, ab and core. they address flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular components of fitness.
Q- How often should I do this workout?
A- If you are just starting out you may want to do them 2-3 times a week. Rest is very important in recovery. When you feel your endurance levels going up, you may try for 4-5 times a week. I would reserve the other days of the week for different types of exercises such as walking, playing tennis, or other sports that you enjoy so you don't get bored and you will also allow your body to recover. You do not want to over-train. Listen to your body and always consult with your doctor before beginning any exercise routine. start slow, you do not have to finish any of the exercises if you feel you can not. as your endurance levels increase you can do more.
Q- Will you be offering downloads?
A- I plan to break down some of these exercises into smaller, download friendly, sizes so you can play them on your phone at the gym or on vacation but be careful. These exercises are so hot and the music is so cool, you might distract the other club members.
